Cell phone chargers are just a sample of things people leave plugged in. If you've already unplugged everything else to save energy, how much extra effort is it to pull the plug on a charger for what could be a free cup of coffee at the end of the year? Cell phone chargers can draw up to 5W power when on standby. Currently, there is an initiative by cell phone companies to design and produce energy saving chargers. If you think unplugging your cell phone charger is miniscule, consider the savings when millions of consumers do it. Mark, every little bit helps.
