Thank you for this Karen. I was a vegetarian for nearly 20 years who recently fell off the wagon (curse you Brambles sausages...) and am just waiting for my kids to make the connection between the animals they love and what is on their plate. I had a similar experience with my son recently. He called me out on downloading a movie and said that I was stealing because I hadn't paid for it. It hit me hard because of course he was right and how could I argue with the moral conviction of a six year old? Needless to say we haven't done it since. They have so much to teach us.
