Year In Review – Your Favorite Comox Valley Farm of 2009

Posted by Robin Rivers on December 23rd, 2009 3 Comments Printer-Friendly

Happy Wednesday. This year has been packed full of Comox Valley food here on Our Big Earth as we hosted the first Eat Real. Eat Local 30-Day Food Challenge and connected families to some of the incredible farmers, ranchers and food producers that make this region such a special and unique place to live.

The stories of farmers who make sure our dinner plates are full of fresh goodness gave us all a sense of connection and a peek inside the process of feeding our families. Take a look back at some of the farmers we featured through our Farm to Family series in 2009. Then, be sure to vote for your favorite at the end.

While I think it may be interesting to see how this poll turns it, voting didn’t feel fair… There are such great farms here, and each offers something a little different, and the people are all marvelous too. I vote ALL Comox Valley Farms my favorites!

    Amanda,

I agree that the farmers of the Comox Valley are amazing…there are so many more than we had time to profile.

Thanks for voting, everyone is a winner when we support local food.
