This is the wittiest, most beautifully written essay on this topic I&#039;ve ever read. If you&#039;ve ever read Amy Alkon, the &quot;Advice Goddess&quot; (nationally known), well.... you leave her behind you in the dust.

I especially love it when writers bring the closure back to the opening. &quot;Re-phrased repetition&quot; I keep telling my writing students. I&#039;d love to show them this essay, but we both know that a bunch of 18 year olds would just say &quot;eeeeeewwwwww.&quot;

But I&#039;m giving you a sitting ovation (and thanks for the insights too).
