After a festive holiday season, it’s always tricky to get the family motivated to get back on a schedule, head out to regular events and plan ahead to spend time with friends new and old. That’s why we like to kick off the Winter session of our NeighbourWood Walks each year at the beginning of January – giving us all a bit of fun, nature-focused motivation to get back in the groove.

We have a great session planned full of morning adventures that are generally in sheltered locations that are friendly to the drizzle of Winter. This is always one of our favorite times for NeighbourWood Walks because the birds are so active and their is lots of small wildlife along the trails.

All walks are at 10 a.m. Wednesdays and are open to kids and families of all ages. See the schedule below for dates and locations. You can pre-register for the Winter walks by filling out the registration form HERE until Jan. 11. After registering, you will get updates on walks, schedules and other information to keep your family active and having fun outdoors all year long.
