Robin Rivers is Our Big Earth’s Executive Editor. A journalist with nearly 20 years under her belt, she’s worked for newspapers and magazines across North America. The Comox Valley became her home in 2006 when she and her husband ditched big-city San Francisco life to be close to family while raising their daughter. She’s also the OBE staff photographer, takes her closet scientist status very seriously, could spend her whole life tide pooling and is generally recognized in a crowd as “the one with the camera.”

Ken Henderson is Our Big Earth’s Design Director. A professional illustrator with a BFA from the University of Victoria, he has worked across North America for companies including Apple, Mainframe Entertainment, Star Trek Online and LucasFilm Ltd. Now the sports editorial cartoonist for the Georgia Straight, Ken’s also busy creating cool concept art for children’s television shows, films and websites and is the artist behind the OBE NeighbourWoodies. All memories of his life stem from the first time he saw Star Wars, with all things referred to in BSW and ASW (Before and After Star Wars). We occasionally let him out of the cave, but not often. He writes the Craftizmos column and movie reviews.

Bevin Clempson is Our Big Earth’s Assistant Editor. She is a mom and a spouse attempting to change her unsustainable habits. While her aim is to live more ecologically, her sometimes less-than-perfect green girliness makes it a work in progress. Bevin holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Communication and a Library Technician Diploma. Her passions are her son, her spouse, photography, writing, knitting, and the great outdoors. When she’s not busy making sure the day-to-day editorial content is sparking here at OBE, she also writes our Green-e-ology column.
