In July 2009, Our Big Earth Media Co. hosted the Eat Real. Eat Local 30-Day Food Challenge – 30 days of learning about local food through restaurant and farm experiences, films, demos and family fun.

We spent an absolutely incredible month exploring the Comox Valley with nearly 500 local residents who took part in a whole range of activities with this fantastic event that was sponsored national by Hellmann’s Canada Inc. and locally by Courtenay’s Brambles Market.
