SPROUTS KIDS GARDENING PHOTO GALLERIES

In the Spring of 2009, Our Big Earth Media Co. and the Comox Valley Regional District launched a partnership and the first SPROUTS Kids Gardening Series.

A small group of 12 kids and their parents learned the ins and outs of organic gardening, recycling and environmental stewardship out at the CVRD Compost Centre. Their hosts Patty Rose and Gayle Bates led them through an exciting six weeks and the kids were able to watch their gardens grow as a part of the Our Big Earth Family Community Gardens .
